Overview

A CDB paper titled “Climate Resilience Strategy Update 2018-2023” will reflect critically on the implementation of the Bank’s Climate Resilience Strategy 2012-2017, and address lessons learnt in the integration of climate considerations in the work programme, specifically with respect to the financing of investment projects using the European Investment Bank’s Climate Action Line of Credit.

Drawing on the most recent technical reports on climate change impacts, and Borrowing Member Countries’ nationally determined contributions under the Paris Agreement, the Paper will also frame the discussion for the update of the Climate Resilience Strategy 2018-2023.
